Immaculate Conception = fireworks?
So another side note, apparently the Immaculate Conception of Mary is celebrated a bit differently here than at Catholic churches in the US. They have a huge celebration with fireworks and marching bands or something. Now this would not be so bad except:
1. The celebration lasts for several days (I think, seeing as the fireworks began this morning and are lasting till Friday)
2. The celebration takes place in the middle of the night.
3. The band or whatever it is will go right through the neighborhood.
So I am waiting for when it gets really bad... but for now I can hope that maybe they won't come to our part of the neighborhood? OR maybe that they won't do it in the middle of the night?
But even this morning at 4:30 it lead to some interesting dreams with hearing the fireworks that sound like gunshots.
