Getting in the groove...

So I've started to feel like this is almost normal life. I mean, there are still mountains out my window. There is still a lot of noise. There are still crazy drivers. But I have a routine and I am getting used to the people I am around. I am not feeling much inspiration for writing today, so I thought I would let some of my pictures do the talking.

Last Friday was Children's day. It's just like Mother's Day or Father's Day except for children. The day included some fun elements, although unfortunately it included most of my students coming to school with an attitude that said, " I shouldn't have to do anything today. Why aren't you doing more for me?" Which after a while started to get on my nerves.
Some of the pluses of the day, I played some games with my class as a reward and I got to see tons of children in awesome costumes. We had a convocation. Here is some photo documentation:

Oh there's Snow White! =)

And my personal favorite princess, Belle. Turns out girls still love Disney princesses here too.

And you can't forget Darth Vader who would randomly go up on stage at time when he had no idea what the kids were supposed to be doing.

So there is a little taste of children's day. Perhaps there will be more to come... and some other random pictures. Currently the internet is being slow and making me annoyed. So I think that I will call it a night. More to come soon!

I'll be getting up at like 4:30 a.m. so I should be sleeping anyways. We are leaving tomorrow morning to go on our Independence Day Vacation to Tela, Honduras. We will be sitting in the sunshine on lovely Caribbean beaches. We'll do some snorkeling, and we might even get to go to the Botanical Gardens and maybe do some kayaking.

So until next time, over and out.
