A part of God's grand story

Today, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by details. I am going to be leaving to go back to Honduras in about a week and I couldn't be more excited. As I was preparing some things and reading through some old journals, I found a "psalm" that I wrote earlier this year. I thought I would share it with all of you.

Great is our Lord.
The story he writes is incomprehensible in its infinite detail.
He finally crafts each thread and weaves them together,
so that they can only proclaim his glory!
We proclaim your infinite wisdom.
We thank you for your relentless love.
You chase after our wayward hearts just so that we may be a part
of your grand tapestry.

We cannot boast in ourselves, for we are merely a thread
in the hand of a Master Craftsman.
WE boast in our maker who has created beyond what our eyes can see.
He has no equal.

We bless your name.
May our hearts seek ever after you.
May our story never be about us,
only about you, for to you alone belongs the greatest praise! Amen!
